Stav Martial Arts Training in Glastonbury
Classes Suspended for the time being
What are the six most important qualities to cultivate in martial arts training? I think that they are Balance, Breath, Coordination, Sensitivity, Vulnerability and Line awareness. Find out why I think this is true by signing up here and getting my PDF report on the Six Essential Qualities of Martial Arts Training and Practice. You will also receive a series of follow up messages which explain how and why Stav develops these qualities.
The Glastonbury Stav Club training is suspended for the present. Classes will resume in Crewkerne on Tuesday evenings between 7.30 and 9pm at the Henhayes Community Centre. Beginning on the 4th September 2012
Classes are taught by Graham Butcher who has nearly 20 years experience in practicing and teaching Stav.
Stav is a European tradition of body, mind and spirit training which was introduced to the UK by Ivar Hafskjold in the early 1990s. It is derived from the Hafskjold family training in runic knowldege and practice. Ivar Hafskjold also spent 14 years in Japan where he attained a 4th Dan in Ken Jutsu and Jo Jutsu. The system is now a fusion of the best in european traditions and eastern martial training. Does it work? Well I think so and I have been working with it for nearly 20 years. You can find out more about why I believe this by reading my blog at the Ice and Fire Canada Website.
Find out for yourself how well Stav could work for you by coming along and training. See Information page for more on training programme and cost of lessons.
